By default the groups you have joined will send an email every time someone emails or posts to the group. It is possible to adjust group email preferences, so the emails are aggregated before they are sent or the email function is turned off. If the email function is turned off, group messages are only viewable on the web.
Follow these directions to adjust your email preferences for your group.
- Go to the Barrett Groups homepage and click on My groups
- Choose the group that you want to edit and click the Every new message button.
- Adjust your preferences to Don't send email updates, Send daily summaries, Combined updates or leave it on Every new message
